The Accounts Assistant Team Leader is part of a team responsible for processing and reconciling a wide variety of accounting documents, performing daily payments, maintaining accurate accounting records and preparing reports. If you fit this profile, then Gan Direct is the right place for you!
As an Accounts Assistant Team Leader, you will:
• Ensure all purchase invoices are properly authorized
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure statements are received and reconciled on a regular basis
• Ensure payments are made to suppliers within terms
• Prepare and process daily payments
• Prepare instructions for bank transactions and follow them through
• Prepare bank reconciliations
• Ensure daily sales are received from all branches timely
• Perform daily interface
• Reconcile daily sales to cash receipts
• Ensure that proper authorizations are received where necessary
• Ensure that petty cash summaries are received from all branches timely together with all supporting documentation
• Ensure financial information and documents are correctly processed daily
• Prepare monthly analyses and reconciliations as required
• Prepare quarterly tax returns (M.I.F.)
• Carry out any other general accounting duties and finance-related tasks as assigned
• Prepare and maintain spreadsheets as requested
• Always ensure compliance with management’s requirements
• Provide support to CFO and Accounts Manager on daily basis
Requirements:
• University degree in Accounting, Business Administration
• Higher diploma in Accounting – LCCI
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Greek
• Strong Computer literacy (MS Office: Word, Excel, Power Point etc.)
• Knowledge of Sage 300 will be an advantage
• Energetic, enthusiastic and pleasant personality
• Telephone etiquette and good interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and to multitask
• Technologically savvy will be considered an advantage
