The IT department’s role is to establish and maintain all communication systems and equipment as required by regulations, customers and the company management. As a Technical Support Assistant, you will be:
- Installing and configuring computer systems
- Diagnosing and solving hardware and software faults
- Participating in the compilation and maintenance of an accurate record of hardware and software
- Providing daily support to requests over the telephone and email for all PC hardware, software and associated peripherals
- Acting as a liaison and coordinator of all IT-related vendors
- Acting as a liaison and coordinator of all maintenance vendors (Generator, Air-Conditioners, Lifts, Electricians, etc.)
- Performing physical monitoring of services provided by all vendors
- Travelling to company branches; island wide, in order to provide support when required
- Undertaking small projects
- Able to excel in a fast-paced, agile environment where critical thinking and strong problem-solving skills are required for success
- Participating in training and coaching sessions for Continuous Learning and Development
Requirements:
- Technical school leaving certificate or university degree in Information Technology.
- Knowledge of hardware and peripherals
- Knowledge of Networking & Cisco Telephony will be considered an advantage
- Windows Server 2008 configuration
- Knowledge of Java and HTML
- Knowledge of IT Ticketing will be considered an advantage
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Greek
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have flexibility and adaptability
- Will to learn new technologies and techniques
